Literary Device and Question.
Literary Devices:
Sick of fish-Hyperbole
He's tired to eat fish all the time.
He saw the blood and hated the blood-Irony
He wanted to die but he didn't wanted to die.
Sides as gold of the sun-Simile
That the sun is so bright like the color of the gold.
The wolf was so... so right.-Personification
That the wolf was right in his actions and to recognize Brian.
Since he had died and been born as the new Brian.- Metaphor
That he had changed to be a better Brian and to survive.
Question:
How does Gary Paulsen use of Literary Devices affect the story?
Describes the story in an interesting way of how Brian is surviving and living in this moments in the middle of nowhere.

You have some good examples of literary devices, but I would like you know more about how, in your opinion, they affect the story. Remember, literary devices are there to help us be a part of the story. We can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel the story through these devices, just as though we are there with the characters.
